World Famous NAMBU IRONWARE
Nambu Tekki is the traditional ironware that has been produced in Iwate
Prefecture (Nambu District). Nambu ironware is made using locally available
materials (iron ore, sand, charcoal, etc.) by craftsmen with the skills that have
been developed over the ironware's long history.
Nambu ironware is very popular not only in Japan but also overseas for its high
quality and excellent designs (both traditional and innovative) as high-end,
heirloom cookware that will be cherished for generations.
